Craft is growing up fast. We’re really proud with how the software has evolved over the years, and we’re blown away by the incredible, world class projects that our customers are launching with it every single day. As the community grows, we are increasingly finding ourselves involved in new and interesting challenges. Projects are getting more complex, and they’re moving into markets traditionally reserved for “enterprise” level solutions, requiring assurances that even the best Changelog can’t offer. It is becoming more and more clear to us that not all problems can be solved with a software update.
We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new Craft Services program, with the goal of being a true partner to our customers when they need it. What that means will evolve over time, but we’re starting with the most frequently requested services our customers have asked for: technical consulting, custom development, and CMS implementation assistance.
To run the program, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve hired Leslie Camacho as “Chief Customer Officer” of Pixel & Tonic. As the former CEO of EllisLab and creator of the original ExpressionEngine Pro Net, Leslie has a long history of working at the intersection of web agencies, their clients, and software. He’s looking forward to working with the Craft community to find out how we can better serve you. (Welcome, Leslie!)
