Dot All: The Official Craft Conference!

Dot All 2017

For the past couple of years, we’ve have been tossing around the idea of doing a Craft conference. Something that would bring together the Craft community for a couple of days of great conversations, presentations, and… fermentations. With the upcoming launch of Craft 3 and the Plugin Store, we decided it’s time to make it happen. So it’s with great excitement that we announce the first Dot All conference! Dot All is taking place October 22-23 in Portland, Oregon at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI).

Day One will feature two tracks: one for web developers and another for plugin developers. For web developers, Ryan Irelan of Mijingo will be giving an all-day workshop on Craft 3. And for plugin developers, the whole Craft dev team will be hosting a Craft 3 plugin development lab, where developers can get one-on-one help building Craft 3 plugins and getting them ready for inclusion in the Plugin Store. Space for Day One is limited so if you’re interested in either of these tracks, be sure to buy your ticket sooner than later!

Brandon will kick off Day Two with some announcements, followed by a full day of speakers presenting on a variety of topics relevant to Craft CMS development. We’ll wrap up the day with a beer or two at the official after-party where you can meet fellow members of the Craft community and enjoy some of Oregon’s famous craft brews.

So why “Dot All”? Dot All draws its name from the new .all() element query function that is replacing .find() in Craft 3. Additionally, the Dot All conference aims to bring together members of the Craft community from all walks of life and backgrounds. While Dot All is focused on Craft developers, it is open to everyone and should be an inspiring, educational, and fun event for all attendees.

Tickets are available now at dotall.com. We’ve secured a discounted rate at an awesome hotel in Downtown Portland that located close to the conference venue and walking distance to some of Portland’s famous food trucks, Voodoo Doughnut, and Portland’s best coffee shops. All the details are on the website.

See you in October!
