Publishing Content to Apple News
If your site includes a news section, a blog, or any other type of regularly updated content, you can increase your reach for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users by publishing your content on Apple News.
To do that, you’ll first need to sign up for News Publisher and create a channel. Channels in News Publisher represent publications.
News Publisher exclusively supports the proprietary Apple News Format. Standard RSS feeds are no longer supported.
Publishing with Apple News Format #
Apple News Format defines your article as a series of components such as headings, body text, pull quotes, images, videos, and others. Its chief advantage is that it gives you control over the look and feel of each individual component, so it can be used to create stylized articles that are on-brand with the publication. This is usually the recommended choice, as it is the only way to take full advantage of all the features Apple News has to offer.
