This course assumes you know HTML, and how to set up a local web server with PHP and a MySQL database. No prior experience with Craft is necessary, but Craft must be installed before the class begins.
About the instructor
Ben’s been working with Craft since it was in beta. He has launched websites with it, built plugins for it, and led “Dev Day” sessions where developers are invited to join him in peeking under the hood.
With over 9 years of experience in the web industry and 5 years experience in education, Ben has worked as a designer, developer, project manager, consultant, content strategist, and teacher. He has extensive experience with a number of content management systems, including Wordpress, ExpressionEngine, Joomla, Drupal, Ektron, and even a few homebrewed CMSs. He has taught courses on micro and macro economics, presentation design, and content management.
